So, have your friends been racing out to upgrade their iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4S? Or, are you an iPhone virgin and debating on going with the cheaper iPhone 4? After all of the hype, and later letdown, of iPhone 5 – the new addition of Siri to Apple received an underwhelming response. Who cares about the beefed up hardware? Is it really that different? Are the iPhone 4 accessories compatible with iPhone 4S? Can you use the same iPhone 4 chargers, cases, headphones, headsets, or any other accessories with iPhone 4S as well?
Well, to help you on-the-fencer’s decide, we have compiled a list to compare these two (we must admit) amazing Apple products.

iPhone 4 – I’m Just Fine Thank You:
— Same design – for you trend setters, shop for artistic cases, who cares about an identical looking phone?
— Same screen – not only in size but in resolution
— Same amount of RAM
— Siri has a hard time bonding with people outside the US
— Not only can you snap more photos and longer videos, you will avoid 1080p playback problems
Much of the new features of the iPhone 4S are due to iOS 5, a major system update that includes iMessage and the updated notification system. These changes are significant, and not to mention fabulous, an update that gives every Droid a run for its money. However, did we mention you could upgrade your iPhone 4 to the exact same software? That’s right. Plug your iPhone 4 into your local iTunes for a good 30 minutes and receive the same upgrade.
Should you run out and buy an iPhone 4S? If you are in the market for a new smart phone? Absolutely. Not only is this smart phone powerful (and quickly diminishing your need for a computer), iPhone 4S is loaded with features, easy to use and takes great pictures and video. It is also available on a wider variety of carriers, which makes it more accessible to more consumers.
So, can you use the same iPhone 4 chargers, cases, headphones, headsets or any other accessories for iPhone 4S? Yes you can. Almost all of the accessories are compatible for the two iPhones. For instance, almost every case out there could fit both iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s. Not only cases – universal accessories such as Bluetooth, FM Transmitters and Car Holder Mounts also work with both iPhones.
As long as Apple continues to deliver a consistent and cohesive environment, the iPhone junkies will continue to flood in. The software upgrade to OS was a stellar improvement and iPhone 4S was given enough improvements to keep it competitive well into 2012 – or that is until iPhone 5 blows it away.
